About

Welcome to the clear net site of #opEDSA edition 2.0. The first edition was in February 2023 and it was simply an open-call for Anon lurkers to join the campaign. The open-call was mostly ignored from the Anon space but a few somehow digged it and carried out some campaigns that eventually marked the beginning of the second edition.

The second edition modified itself to global relevance in February 2024 – aligned with the global campaign against authoritarianism, capitalism and political dynasties.

Also, the second edition moved away from attacking .gov.ph sites to a more exciting attack vectors. But this move does not mean we prohibit anyone from playing with .gov.ph targets (by all means anyone are free to improve their skills by practicing against it). For #opEDSA, however, we wanted an exciting targets befitted only to mature adversaries.

Following this, #opEDSA 2.0 is no longer innocent to the naivety of pro-democracy uprising around the world that some may have been inspired by EDSA of 1986. The second edition of #opEDSA is aware of the failures that came after these popular uprisings (Arab Spring, Occupy Movement, French Yellow Vest Movement). This awareness, thus, informs the consciousness of #opEDSA edition 2.0 demanding for a working class alternative to elite democracy, capitalism, and authoritarianism that plagues both the virtual and real world.

Working class of the world unite!
Hack back as there is nothing to lose but our chains!
